"No words can describe our utter amazement when we happened to check our fundraising account to find the above mentioned deposit, omg, I was on a bus full of wildlife carers heading to the Sydney Uni Vet Clinic as part of the National Wildlife Conference in Sydney. Tears rolling down my face as I called James to tell him, I then announced it to the others on the bus which prompted the conversation about the ‘Save Our Koalas’ project we are trying to get started,our koalas are dying of scabies, 87 in less then 12 months in a 30km stretch of river😢finally we are looking like getting some research done, we do need to raise the funds for this to happen, $20,000 we’ve been told but thanks to Libby’s Koala & Wildlife Crusade’s donation we are on our way. Please keep your eye out for the announcement of our project and regular updates on our Facebook page, Dutch Thunder Wildlife Shelter
