We donated
🐨 150 towels 🐨 200 pillow cases 🐨 28 blankets 🐨 78 Flat Sheets 🐨 20 hand towels & 🐨 10 bath mats As a thank-you they gave me a cool certificate which was great. Andrew then said that if I wanted- he would take me out for a rescue one day, maybe take me to their Kilmore HQ and I could help pack rescue packs and finally- they have arranged for me to do one of their "Rescue Training Sessions." It will be amazing and I am excited to be asked to do these things. |
In February 2017, we collected towels, blankets and pillow cases for
Wildlife Rescue Group- 0417 506 941. When we arrived at Andrew's home- he had 5 orphaned kangaroo joey's in his backyard. We got to pat them, feed them and cuddle them. They were so cute but it was very sad to see 5 babies had lost their mums. We are happy there are people like Andrew out there who help our wildlife.

We were also lucky enough to meet Andrew's friend Krysti. She was looking after an orphaned ring tale possum. This baby was teeny tiny! I have never seen anything so small up close. It was great. I got to hold the possum (in the pouch) - it was awesome. Thank you Wildlife Rescuers for all that you do for our local wildlife.
