I am collecting unwanted linen to donate to Victorian Wildlife Rescue Groups all year round!
If you are having a clean out of your linen cupboard please think about donating it to me or your local wildlife rescue group.
You can also arrange a drive at your work or school- I will happily come and get any donations that you collect (Melbourne Metro only). Contact us if you can help by doing a drive.

Where can you donate your linen?
I have two locations to drop linen off to. If you can be another drop off location- I would LOVE to hear from you. I will come and collect linen from you- all you have to do is leave a bin out (which I supply) and allow me to share your address. A business or home is perfect!

What do I do with the linen?
Towels, pillow cases and some of the blankets are donated to wildlife rescue groups in need.
These are all essential pieces of material that are used for rescuing animals and helping comfort sick/injured animals. Rescue people keep a blanket, towel and pillow case in their cars so that when they are called to a rescue or see an injured animal on the side of the road, they can wrap them up and take them for treatment.
Flat sheets and some blankets are made into wildlife pouches. I have a few people that sew for me- they take this material and make them into snuggly pouches for sick/injured wildlife.

Can you sew?
I am always in need of people to sew pouches for me. They are needed all year round. If you have time to spare and can help, please email us [email protected] or contact us through my facebook page. You can pickup material from us in Diamond Creek or Thomastown Victoria- we also have a template for you to use. We are shocked to hear from people all across Australia who want to help. There are some people that have offered to sew pouches and send them to us. If you want to make some pouches and send them- PLEASE CONTACT US! Rather than send them to us- we will have to send them to a rescue group that we support in your state- they will LOVE it!
Pouch Information
Pouches are pretty easy to sew. They are really a large pillow case with a round bottom.
