2,000 TREE GUARDS

Over the last 2 weeks, my dad and I have been organising these. They are tree guards to protect seedlings when they are planted.
My dad's boss owns a company that makes the material to make these. My dad's work has the machine that can cut them. My dad asked another company if they would donate the cutting forme that would cut them into shape and they very kindly did! I was so happy. My dad stayed back one night after work and cut some. Then him and I spent the Queens Birthday holiday cutting and stripping away all the excess and stacking them. It took a long time but we did it.
I am giving these 2,000 tree guards to the Koala Clancy Foundation so that they can plant all the trees that they wanted to plant this year.  They have said that I can bring
1 friend to 5 Koala Conservation days.

I am already a member and wanted to go and plant trees this winter so it will be fun to get to do it 5 more times with a friend. My dad is pretty awesome for making this happen.

If you want to help plant trees and learn more about wild koala's, you can join Koala Clancy for a koala conservation day. It costs $20 and you will get to plant some trees (until August), do some weeding (removing boneseed weed that koala's don't like at all and maybe see a wild Koala or if you are very lucky- Clancy himself! Its fun.
