Thank you to the Diamond Valley Lions Club for having me at their Christmas Twilight Market last night.
I was lucky enough to spend the night under this beautiful gum meeting lots of people and raising $333.00 from sales of my items and donations. Thanks to everyone that came and saw me. Highlights were some local kids recognising me from Behind the News- it was a strange experience being recognised. One boy was in shock that it was me and I was so humbled to see his response. I was so excited when a couple of my re-purposed macconna jars sold but then I had some of the calendars that I teamed up with Dutch Thunder Wildlife Shelter to create sell AND 4 of my baseball caps! One to a male teenager my age and one is going all the way to France! So thank you again to everyone that came down and saw me last night- it was my last market for the year. Next week instead of going to school (for "clean up days" and no classes) I am going back up to Dutch to volunteer for a week before Christmas. Cannot wait! If you'd like to donate to my christmas hampers I am still trying to get washing powder (sensitive brand) and a couple of items i posted on my wall this week that are on sale or checkout my Hamper album for ideas. If you’d like to help with my Christmas hampers and donations to rescuers & carers like this, here’s how: Libby Fisher BSB: 063 594 AC: 1040 1537 Ref: Donate 2 Buy Credit card- https://chuffed.org/pay/campaign/56462 Remember- EVERY DOLLAR HELPS!
