Today mum and I went to the You Yangs just outside of Melbourne. We went to do a koala conservation tour with the Koala Clancy Foundation & Echidna Walkabout Nature Tours. We went to remove a weed called boneseed weed because koalas don't like it. It was easy to take out. There were small ones and some were as big as me but they were easy to pull out. After we went out for a walk to find wild koalas. the first koala we found was called Pat and she was Clancy's mother. Pat was sitting up high in a tree and then we drove up to a car park and then we walked really far to Clancy. When we saw Clancy he was looking at use when we took photos and then just before we were about to leave he crossed his arms. When we were coming back someone found Anzac who is Clancy's father but we didn't get to see him. There were thousands of mozzies too. I got lots of bites but it was worth it to help koalas.
